Pumpkin Fest is an annual event held in the village of Grafton, WI. The festival will kick off Friday evening in Grafton with a blues concert in honor of the history of the blues in the village. Saturday the festival will feature activities for all ages in Paramount Square in downtown Grafton, an Art Fair, music and a bike race in Limn Kiln Park.
FESTIVAL DATE & TIME: Saturday, October 8th, 10am - 4pm
STANDARDS: Artwork must be original in design and executed by the applicant. All work displayed MUST be produced by the exhibiting artist.
No commercial dealers, agents, kits, crafts or castings from commercial molds.
All artists must remain with their booths for the duration of the festival, even if the entire body of work is sold. Artists may not break down booths before closing time on any day of the festival.
JURY PROCESS: Submit 4 digital images, or high quality photographs to NSAA with application. The jury panel will consist of experienced art professionals with knowledge and experience in multiple art disciplines. A limited number of artists per medium will jury process is done anonymously and the decision of the jury is final.
NOTIFICATIONS: Notifications will be emailed to artists by September 15, 2011.
BOOTH INFO: Artists are responsible for their own tents, tables and display material. All tents MUST be a 10’ x 10’ canopied,
tent. Electricity is not furnished. NSAA will have both indoor and outdoor space available. Please indicate your preference. NSAA
will provide preference on a first come, first-serve basis. Indoor spaces will not require a tent.
SET-UP/BREAK DOWN: Set-up Saturday, October 8th, 8-10am at Paramount Plaza in Dowtown Grafton. Break down will need to be completed by 5:30pm for indoor booths to allow for an evening show.
STATE SALES TAX: All artists are responsible for collecting the 5.6% sales tax.
CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations will be accepted if cancellation notification is received via email to NSAA by September 25, 2011.
FEES: Application/Jury Fee (non-refundable) - $10.00 invited artists will not need to send a jury fee
Booth Fee - $25.00
