Often when I spot a random artifact, I am struck by the intriguing shape or unusual patina. A certain beauty emerges with mysterious potential. As an eco-artist, the challenge of recycling found objects, plastic bottles and packaging materials into a visual piece is extremely challenging … and rewarding.
For a bit of whimsy, I also enjoy working with vintage glitter, antique postcards, love notes, old photos and pieces of transparent silk. The process is an unpredictable creative game. Hopefully the art transforms
into a piece that is uniquely pleasing, or challenging, to the eye. This is the inspiration behind RE-LOVE-ME.

A bit about the artist:
Kathy Lanser designs iPhone/Android apps, manages Social Media networking and handles tour support for the Blind Ambition Management artist roster. Her career originated in Melbourne, as Vice President / International Account Services at Creata Promotion. An offer from Narada Productions, based in her hometown of Milwaukee, brought her into the music industry. At the Label, she realized that marketing tools effective with clients like Frito Lay, Kellogg Co, McDonalds and Pizza Hut were extremely helpful in the record industry. She launched musicians onto the Billboard Charts, managed the massive fan club and created a demographic/tour database to enhance publicity and touring opportunities. Kathy, a collage artist, also secured artwork for the evocative CD covers. In her free time, she enjoys producing music festivals.
