Wendy Renard
My love of the outdoors and the many summers spent in northern Michigan exploring the shores of lakes Michigan and Superior have influences my work in profound ways. The joy of creating art started at a young age and natural subjects often inspire me.
I have been a Watercolor artist for 30 years and other mediums that I enjoy working in include oil, acrylic, hot glass and ceramics.
Over the last 20 years, I have also been an art instructor at local colleges, art museums, art centers and schools in Wisconsin, and I have designed and conducted workshops in watercolor, acrylics and ceramics.
I studied fine art and art education at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and at Santa Reparata International School of Art, Florence, Italy.
I have also studied with watercolor artist Joseph Fetingus and with friend and mentor Daniel Gerhartz.
