MINI WAUKESHA RAINSTICK CLASS
MINI WAUKESHA RAINSTICK CLASS – with Arts Mill artist Laura Weber
It’s great fun to watch those who pick this up in my studio. Eventually they put it down, but not before they inspect, tilt, listen, and ask; “how’d you do this.. what’s inside… do you sell these?”
Now here’s your chance to make one of your own. Using a kit and pattern from Ann Snyder, you’ll learn the basics of twining with waxed linen to make this 6 1/2 ” mini rainstick. You will also learn variations to create different patterns, and add embellishments such as birch bark and beads.
Work at your own pace, and continue at home if you like. Additional projects will be available for those finishing ahead of others.
